Five people died on the spot and  nine others were seriously injured in a road accident along Nairobi Mombasa high way. A 14 seater Matatu collided head on with a lorry at Kapiti which is a few Kilometres from Chumvi junction along the nairobi mombasa highway. The 14 seater matatu was carrying members of a church from Siaya county who were on their way to Mombasa. The lorry was heading to Nairobi from Mombasa.
