In this part we take on Winona, the most underrated Gym Leader in the Hoenn region.

If you did Wattson's side-quest, you should have TM 24 Thunderbolt, which is of great help against her. Swablu, Tropius, Skarmory, Pelipper and Altaria... not a small team, but some of them are fairly weak. Skarmory's special defense is pretty poor. Watch out for that Tropius. It packs Sunny Day, Clorophyl and Solarbeam.

Altaria, which is part Dragon, also packs Earthquake. Not terribly hard, but things may go bad if you haven't leveled properly.

Calm Mind on Gardevoir combined with Thunderbolt got this victory for me. The reward, Aerial Ace, is a great move to use on non-flying Pokemon to have a different type move.
