The Medical Equipment Recycling Program (MERP) provides refurbished medical equipment free of charge to people in UPMC Horizon's service area who lack insurance coverage or the financial means to purchase new medical equipment. The program is funded by a grant from the UPMC Horizon Community Health Foundation.
