The Ministry of Energy Chief Administrative Secretary, Simon Kachapin, has issued a stern warning to electricity contractors in West Pokot County, over the laxity and corruption. Speaking on  Sunday at Sebit area in West Pokot, as he launched the Last Mile programme, Kachapin said President Uhuru Kenyatta directed the ministry to ensure the introduction of cheaper electricity costs in rural areas.
