http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com Chilka Lake is home to millions of migratory birds in December/January. There were on their paths back home now but there was a group of Kutia Kondh women with distinctive tattooed faces waiting to visit the local temple, the first we'd seen. The younger generation no longer does this. A stop along the road to stretch our legs and a crowd of children and adults gathered around to meet us. We might have been the first westerners they'd ever seen and they probably went home with new stories to regale friends and families. Please don't forget to Subscribe, Share and Like. Thanks.
