This video won 1st place in the state of Hawaii, in the "Island Movie" and "Catch the Wave" contests. It's my own personal reflection on life in high school, and how my friends came along, changing my life for the best. Very touching indeed. I hope people will find their own ways to relate to my story. It covers a variety of topics... A simple gesture of kindness can make a huge huge difference. Remember to be a friend, and don't underappreciate the ones who have shown you love throughout the years. In the future, you may part ways... but shed your tears, and then be ready to move forward proudly, holding close the lessons you learned from your friends. I spent ages searching through my mass of home video tapes for all the footage used in this clip. And it was murder on my mind, because I had to keep it under 2 minutes long. I coulda gone on forever! Then it was tricky trying to arrange and time clips just right, to match my narrations with the visuals. Music Composed by Richard Olpindo, aka "DJ RICKY"
