As with the celebrated PAM 508, the PAM 607 combines the best of Panerai's 47mm "1950" Submersible case and adds the scratch-dodging resilience of black ceramic. Owners of luxury watches with PVD black finishes know how quickly a beauty can become a beast when scratches and scuffs mar the delicate finish. With the PAM 607, that nightmare is a thing of the past.

The Panerai Ceramic material is as tough as a sapphire crystal and laughs at all but catastrophic blows and diamond tools. Panerai compounds the advantage by crafting the unidirectional diver's bezel and he entire crown guard from the same tough stuff as the case.

Inside, an automatic Panerai caliber P.9000 provides a rugged and accurate heartbeat for the PAM 607. The P.9000 also features a useful independent hour hand adjustment that facilitates easy correction when traveling between time zones.
