Interior cabinet secretary Fred Matiang'i says ongoing clashes in Marsabit were politically instigated. The CS went on to warn those fanning the violence saying they will face the full force of the law regardless of their rank or status. Four people died in the ethnic clashes yesterday. Eastern Regional Commissioner Wyclife Ogallo has given those in possession of illegal firearms 7 days to surrender them. Religious leaders from the area had an urgent meeting concerning the clashes.
