I've driven over this crossing for 15 years and have never seen a train...until now. This section of track crossing the 10100 block of SW Allen Boulevard in Beaverton, Oregon used to lead to a Chrysler Parts warehouse that is still used by FCA. However around 2006, the spur leading into the warehouse was removed and the facility repurposed for trucking only. This caused the track to dead-end at the former gate to the Chrysler property. I waited for years for the P&W to remove this trackage but they never did as it is occasionally needed to stage cars for the nearby cardboard business. And very early on the morning of January 9th, 2018, that's exactly what happened. In total, six boxcars were parked on the Chrysler end of the spur to await staging at the aforementioned cardboard manufacturing plant. They'll be pulled out at some point in the near future and staged on the north side of Allen Boulevard. After that, who knows when this crossing will see any activity.
