This may seem surprising, but this is quite the important 2012 album both culturally and economically. This will be a big seller, but also has an angry message that will resonate loud and clear among those who hear it. Bruce is echoing the outrage of millions of people globally, but centers his outrage toward the American people. The sentiment, expressed in brilliant metaphor, is that economic injustice must be ceased, past wrongs need to be righted, and those who toil should be rewarded. Expertly penned without his dear friend Clarance Clemmons, Bruce and the E Street Band create a haunting masterpiece that's bound to shake up a landscape already experiencing the earthquake of an election year.
