Day 13 in the Atlantic, Day 30 in the Eastern Pacific
Tropical Storm Yagi is virtually no more, though its remnants continue and are likely to cause significant rainfall over parts of southern Japan and the Izu islands. Here, gale advisories, rainfall advisories and in some areas rainfall warnings are in place, with flooding possible for parts of southeatern Japan and the Izu islands.
Invest 99W continues in the South China sea, but is failing to take advantage of the warm waters it sits upon, and is not likely to develop into a tropical cyclone.
