ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) - Two people were taken to the hospital after being hit by a car in Anderson Township Thursday night.

It happened near Sutton Road and Eversole just before 11 p.m.

According to the police report, the man and woman were walking with traffic on Sutton Road, when they were hit from behind by a dark 4-door sedan. The impact knocked them into a concrete culvert. 

Both people who were hit were taken to UC Medical Center. 

Deputies do not have a good description of the car but it may have damage to the passenger side and the windshield. The car lost its passenger side mirror.

Sutton was shut down for a period of time while the scene was cleared around the same time as the sold-out Kenny Chesney concert crowd was leaving Riverbend Music Center, causing a traffic jam.
