Elon Musk's SpaceX launched the U.S. Air Force's most powerful GPS satellite ever built on Sunday. The satellite was supposed to soar Tuesday but rocket concerns and then bad weather delayed the flight. The U.S. Air Force claimed the GPS III SV01 satellite is three times more accurate than previous ones, and eight times better at anti-jamming. It has been nicknamed "Vespucci," after the Italian explorer who calculated the earth's circumference to within 50 miles (around 80 kilometers). This marks SpaceX's 21st and final launch of the year, a company record.
