Ever since it was first recorded by Bobby Helms in 1957, "Jingle Bell Rock" written by Joe Beal and Jim Boothe, has become a holiday standard. The original recording on the Decca label was released 2 days before Christmas in 1957 and reached #6 on the pop chart. "Jingle Bell Rock" charted again in 1958, 1959, and finally in 1961.
