Experiment #186: Bottle of Shampoo

(Rated PG) I was expecting this to at least be a little cool, with the top popping and spraying shampoo everywhere, and hoping it might explode. But instead what I got was a bottle that just swelled up to a point, then deformed and collapsed in on itself with some of the shampoo boiling off. You can't tell, but I cut out a lot of footage from this episode, for your benefit and for mine, this was one of the most boring items I've ever microwaved. It also was my first "stupid idea" of season 5. After this I probably will never use shampoo again for a microwave experiment because this was really lame, super boring, and super disappointing. I wonder if dove shampoo or something like that might work better. Or maybe something exotic and weird like Old Spice body wash. Season 5 of Microwave me is filmed with a high-tech state of the art digital camcorder and stars host and producer Matthew Villani as Captain Microwave and for this episode, a Proctor-Silex microwave named Lindsay.
