I am trying to bring this generator back to life. First it would not turn over. I was finally able to free it up to turn over. It has compression now. Then there was no spark so after cleaning the contacts I got spark. My son took the carburetor home to rebuild it with a kit I bought. I was testing it with some starting fluid without the carb just to see if it would fire... and it did, in more than one way. The backfire was much louder in real life than on the video as my wife came out of the house to see what the loud noise was.
