http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com Les Grands Montets is located above Argentiere and again, has not only spectacular glaciers, the Glacier d'Argentiere but opportunities for mountaineering (if you are so inclined). Easy hiking from the bottom to the middle stations with lots of Marmot colonies and then difficult to the top. The huge trams opened today and we used our Mont-Blanc passes to see what all the hue and cry was about.
