The ongoing violence and ethnic clashes in the country's volatile Kasai region have forced millions of people from their homes. Many end up in Kananga, the provincial capital. Thanks to assistance from humanitarian agencies, many displaced families are able to start again. They're given small plots of land and seeds to grow their own food and become self-sufficient.
