A commotion broke out at the Dewan Rakyat today when an opposition MP from Kinabatangan, Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin used the 'F-word' against a government backbencher. The uncouth remark came after Puncak Borneo MP, Willie Mongin mentioned the word 'Casino' in a question to Datuk Seri Bung Moktar deliberately referencing an old photo of a man resembling the Kinabatanan MP at a casino that went viral. Several backbenchers stood up and asked the MP to retract the word, with some calling for the Deputy Dewan Rakyat Speaker, Datuk Mohd Rashid Hasnon to order Datuk Seri Bung Moktar out of the Dewan. Datuk Mohd Rashid then adjourned the sitting for lunch and later ordered Datuk Bung Moktar to retract the word when the sitting resumed at 2.30pm to which the lawmaker adhered.
