I took with me 2 pieces of watercolor paper on which I previously drew rectangles with my watercolor pencils at home. 

I put the pieces of watercolor paper into the pocket of my travel sketchbook.

While traveling I use the refillable watercolor brush to rub on the color rectangles and use it to paint.
