ADEN AIR STRIKES
Saudi-led coalition air strikes and artillery fire hit the southern city of Aden overnight. Iranian-backed Houthi fighters and local militiamen traded fire in the Khor Maksar district. Residents have described the fighting as the worst in over the month. They said at least six Houthis and two local militiamen were killed overnight. The Houthi’s push into Aden's outskirts on March 25th triggered a Saudi-led air campaign.

ANWAR JUDICIAL REVIEW
Malaysian opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim has applied for a judicial review of his conviction for sodomy. This is his last legal recourse after an appeal was rejected in February. He has denied the charges, his second conviction for sodomy. He called them a fabrication aimed at ending his political career. Anwar was a member of the ruling party before he had a falling out with Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad.

MOODY’S DOWNGRADE
Credit rating agency Moody’s has cut Greece’s government bond rating to 'Caa2' from 'Caa1.’ Moody’s expressed concern over Greece’s lack of progress towards a deal with its international lenders in time to meet upcoming debt repayments. A ‘Caa2' rating is historically associated with a roughly 25 percent probability of default over a two-year horizon. Concurrently, Moody's has lowered Greece’s local- and foreign-currency bond ceilings to B3 from Ba3. This reflects the increased probability that Greece may exit the eurozone in the event of a sovereign default.

CHARLIE HEBDO CARTOONIST
Charlie Hebdo Cartoonist Renald Luzier has stated he is no longer interested in drawing cartoons that depict the Prophet Muhammad. Luzier is the cartoonist who continued to draw the Prophet Muhammad after the Charlie Hebdo attack earlier this year. In January, two masked gunmen stormed Charlie Hebdo’s Paris headquarters and killed twelve people. Hebdo has a history of printing controversial religious material.
