In this video, Luke Simonds goes freediving with a big school of mangrove snapper in about 50 ft of water off of Islamorada, FL. After lobster mini-season of 2014, Jon Bentley, Kenzie Bentley, and I decided to test our lungs out in deeper water. At this spot, there were an absolute ton of mangrove snapper on a reef just off of Islamorada. Most from the group were small, but there were some lunkers down there too... wish I had my speargun.
