This video was created as a response to youtube user Properinglish19's Multiplexing Like a Boss video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQYQvlRhe_4 where he shows one example use of multiplexers in a circuit he made to take two inputs and put out two outputs and be able to swap which input went to what output. The circuit he had used some tricky wire routing to get the top and bottom signals to respectively the bottom and top. I figured there was an easier way and this is what I came up with. The circuit I came up with uses 3 XNOR's to preform this function. The circuit first xnor's the two inputs together, then on each side there is a xnor, xnoring the difference between the two (output of the first xnor gate) and the input. If the output of the first xnor is held high the inputs simple go through to the output. If the output of the first xnor is allowed to propagate, then it changes the output to the opposite input.
