Did we know that the day of our train return to Paris was the beginning of the yearly French exodus to beaches and other destinations for vacation? Never gave it a thought. Should have... Instead of a 3-1/2 hour trip back to the Paris airport, we spent the entire day and evening waiting for trains, on trains and getting to the hotel at Charles de Gaulle.
