The seven ANC North West mayors who have been recalled by the party's provincial task team, are intending to challenge the move in court. The provincial task team announced its decision to recall the mayors. Four of them are from municipalities implicated in depositing municipal funds in VBS Mutual bank. The other three mayors, have been recalled as their municipalities are said to have collapsed and are unable to provide basic services to the community. The affected mayors view this decision as politically-motivated. Their spokesperson is Mamusa mayor, Aaron Motswana. For reaction from the North West ANC's provincial task team, we now joined on the line by the task team's spokesperson for the provincial task team Kabelo Mataboge. For more news, visit: sabcnews.com
