A close up of handsome Henry enjoying his personal attention with hand feedings whenever he comes for visits. His companion Arnie dines beside him on the ground. We have only seen Henry and Arnie once earlier this December. We hope both are doing well. This is time of the year when the males travel great distances actively looking to mate with females. Boar fights with competing males can cause severe or fatal injuries; Henry's second year in life was nearly ended due to these breeding events. Hold pawsitive thoughts for these two boys so they get through this winter season unscathed. NOTE: Our rescue raccoons resides in a region where there hasn't been a case of raccoon rabies for over three decades which is tracked by the local public health department. We are fortunate to be able to observe and professional work with a variety of wildlife species since we reside next to a protected wildlife preserve. Our rescue raccoons lounge and play on our terrace as well as use it as a thoroughfare. No children nor pets are ever harmed, especially the wild animals captured in these videos.
