What is the best free fire starting material you ask?  Well in my opinion it doesn't get much better than Dryer Lint.  You don't need to add anything too it, it is extremely flammable as is and it can take a spark like a champ.  Dryer lint is readily available and free so don't throw it away, just store it in a ziplock and take it on your next camping trip or bushcraft outing, or save it case of an emergency.
