This record is played on an old ElECTROLA Gramophone, which my father used to play on special or festive occasions like New Year's Eve.
This is a rare recording called homocord and was made in Germany Nr. B 34. 11636 The Orchestra is unknown and could have been recorded after the second world war or even much earlier.
On the back side of this record is a so called Laughing Record (German: Lachplatte) A small music group is playing a famous German song and the musicians are playing wrong and then they all burst out laughing. You can watch this record on my youtube channel or try: Die verpfuschte Lorelei - Lachplatte.
History: Homocord Electro: Founded in 1905 in Berlin, Germany. The label name here is spelled with a 'c' instead of a 'k', I have seen other records dated 1926.
"American Patrol" is written by F. W. Meacham in 1885. Written originally for piano, it was then arranged for for piano, it was then arranged for wind band and published by Carly Discher in 1891.
This record was made in Germany probably between 1926 - 1930.
On the back side you find a video of a laughing record, Die verpfuschte Lorelei
