Quavo says Lyric on ‘Big Bro’ was NOT about Lil Peep + Bexey Responds

Quavo of the Migos today clarified his controversial lyric from ‘Quavo Huncho’ which some people took as a disrespect to Lil Peep, and Peep’s friend Bexey was quick to respond.

The Migos member caused controversy when mentioning ‘rockstar’ and fentanyl-laced Xanax pills on the track ‘Big Bro’ on his newly released solo project ‘Quavo Huncho’ (Full Lyric: "Think you're poppin' Xanax bars, but it's Fentanyl / Think you're living life like rockstars but you're dead now”). He took to Twitter today [10/15/2018] to explain the lyric and claimed it was not about Peep at all, and paid his respects to Peep and other fallen rappers like XXXTentacion, saying: 
“Lil Peep Is A Legend A Real Rockstar / N E V E R will speak on the deceased / I believe in god I pray to GOD every day / I Dnt question GOD plans I lost my barber For 10 yrs to FENTANYL  R.I.P. Show  R.I.P  XXX [EMOJI] RIP TO ANYBODY WHO LOST THERE LIFE TO DRUG ABUSE!”

Quavo said the lyric was not aimed at Peep, and said he would never “speak on the deceased”. Bexey was quick to respond and apologize for coming at Quavo, after speaking to his fellow Migos member Offset over the phone and resolving the confusion over the lyric. Bexey quoted Qua’s post and said: “ITS ALL LOVE, I JUMPED TO CONCLUSIONS CAUSE I’M HURT.
THANK YOU FOR BEING REAL & EXPLAINING THIS SHIT.. RESPECT.”
