Frozen Student Found Face Down in Snow

OXFORD, Ohio (WKRC) -- Frigid temperatures earlier this month could have killed a Miami University student.Police say he was so intoxicated he passed out in a yard.  A neighbor found him the morning of January 6th and called 911. My husband just found a body outside, he's bringing it into the house. Dispatch asked, Is the person breathing? Yes, he's alive.  He's frozen, he was lying face down in the snow. A life squad responded and found the young man's legs frozen solid.  Medics took him to McCullough-Hyde Hospital then later transferred him to UC Medical Center. Officers told the student's parents he was very lucky to not lose any body parts or suffer brain damage.
