http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com There is a weekly market held approximately 30 minutes outside of Tinghir/Tinehir and Aziz gave the group only 30 minutes to wander around inside along with extreme cautions to keep valuables inside a money belt. Weekly markets/souks exist for one purpose. Government and local taxes are less in a market then town shops. I didn't expect the market to be as interesting as it was. Goat bladders filled with milk to be churned into butter and cheese, pots, pans, and even popcorn! An entertaining half hour that was definitely not enough time...
