The Minnesota Marathon is only a few months away and training is in full-force.

26.2 miles isn't something that you just go out and do everyday. It takes months and months of training and that's what Brian has chosen to do.

So the past few weeks has gone well so far but what's starting to be so crucial to recovery and feeling good is having a good post-run recovery plan. You can't just wing it and expect good things to happen. And if you want to stay healthy, there needs to be a cool-down AND recovery plan in place.

Take his advice and opinions seriously. Not only does it work from his experience but he is also a Triathlon Coach and a Sports Nutritionist.

Continue to journey with him over the next 4 months to hear more about his training, his high points, low points, struggles, and recommendations. I'm sure you'll also hear some funny stories along the way.

Help him out too by giving him some feedback and offer some motivation because training for a marathon can and usually is a boring and laboring task.
