Homemade low cost, dual power (solar and AC) portable RO water filter prototype running on solar panel only (no AC, no battery pack).  Seems to work rather well.
Good for camps / camping, disaster relief, prepping (bugging out or bugging in), etc.  Will fit in the back of a small car.  Produces 10 liters per hour with 40 watt panel (12v).  15 liters per hour with 2 panels (24v).  
Uses off the shelf parts and internationally available (non-proprietary) filter components.
