Rinpoche began by giving the oral transmission of Lion Faced Dakini dispelling practice (that is recited after Heart Sutra) Rinpoche gave some explanation within the oral transmission. Then Rinpoche said when we take refuge to Dharma you cannot harm sentient beings. Rinpoche went through some of the refuge vows that one takes, such as the danger of avoiding holy dharma. Then Rinpoche explained the importance of the lamrim. Lamrim saves you from eons of suffering in the lower realms. Lamrim is the key, that unlocks all the precious things. All the teachings of Buddha are included in the lamrim. When you practice lamrim then everything appears as advice to you. Rinpoche then spoke on how to find a guru, saying it is not like looking for a boyfriend, girlfriend and when you’re not happy then give up. Rinpoche then explained with quotations how Buddha Vajradhara appears in degenerate times and how important it is to have good connection with the guru and that the ultimate path is guru yoga.
