Man charged with robbery, assault after stabbing in Covington

COVINGTON, Ky. (WKRC) - One man was taken to the hospital after a reported double stabbing in Covington and another was taken to police headquarters.

Police were called to West 10th Street near Madison at 4:40 a.m. Wednesday morning. They found the injured victim who was taken to the hospital. He has since been released.

Officers didn't find any other victims. After interviewing witnesses, detectives charged 27-year-old Robert Willoughby with robbery and assault.

Willoughby is currently in the Kenton County Jail.
