http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com One night of camping in the Valley of the Whales, El Wadi Hitan, is ahead. Stops along the way to pick up dinner and breakfast makings. Rice, potatoes, tomatoes, and a live chicken with only a few more hours to cluck. The Egyptian Desert is cold during the winter months - a vast understatement. The Park Reserve staff took pity on us and let us sleep inside their souvenir shop. Wind whipped up a small sandstorm as we walk to see 40 million year old whale fossils (video appears tomorrow). A Fennec Fox comes by during dinner to investigate possiblilities and, you must admit, a night sleeping in the desert does nothing for my appearance:) Please don't forget to Share, Like and Subscribe!
