The question facing families is where to stash savings. The choice is between RRSPs, RESPs, and these newly created Tax-Free Savings Accounts or TFSAs. We're in acronym hell, Garry says. The simplest, up-front advice: use RRSPs first, since you get the tax break when you contribute the funds. TFSAs only give you tax breaks when you take the money out.
