Out of options, he turns to The Almighty with a mixture of hope, resignation and fear. While the song, thankfully, is not autobiographical, I have plenty of experience dealing with feelings of estrangement from a Higher Power. Those emotions are what I tried to tap into when putting this piece together. Truth be told, I began the recording process expecting to put a simple mix together, but obviously the song had other ideas. :-) "RM" clocks in at my new high for tracks with 36, including 4 that have been reversed. Add in this being an unusual song in that it took 3 complete lyric rewrites and this wasn't a run-of-the-mill project for me. Thanks for all the kind comments and support.
