British Trucks & tents above, but surrounded by, water in camp, soldiers moving about; pan across wet camouflaged tents in breeze.  Truck along muddy road beside filled stream bed.
10:18:59  Slate:  Dir Sheridan, camera:  Sgt Sheaps. Slate 4.  View across water on metal mesh runway.  MCU mechanic working on Hawker Hurricane w/ British markings parked in water; airmen in boots walk past another, engine started & signaled for taxiing w/ bomb beneath, CUs.
10:20:40  LS snow on mountains w/ low fog / clouds, pan across farms.
10:21:07  Slate:  same, no. 8.  LS hillside w/ snow, pan to valley & fog & light snow on fields.  Slate 9:  deeper snow after fresh snowfall.  Truck w/ troops along snow-covered hillside road.
10:21:57  Troops carrying mess cups out of Quonset hut w/ sign: Church Army Canteen, & across mud & deep standing water, MCUs.  MLS across rutted mud.  MS men pounding tent stakes; others out of tents to cook shack.  Standing in line in rain, CUs of boots & tin cups & plates.
10:23:29  Soldiers washing dishes in metal tank w/ steam rising.
10:23:54  MS of unid. twin-engine bomber plane sunk in mud.  MS tent standing in water w/ planes behind, airmen walking thru water, various large aircraft in background.  
10:24:39  P-38 low past over water & against clouds.
10:24:52  MCU Major Richard Bong in cockpit w/ gunner (?) & 27 Japanese kill patches on fuselage; motors start & plane taxiis past onto dirt runway & taking off  (GOOD)
10:25:47  Two men walk to plywood building w/ sign:  Radio Guinea, enter.  Interior:  two men w/ headsets at microphone.  One man signals to man on right, Richard Bong who speaks (MOS) as other watches stop watch.  MCU Bong talking / reading script.
10:26:40  Major Bong in Khakis on plane wing & into cockpit.  CU kill flags on fuselage; MS Bong in cockpit w/ engines running, begins taxiing away.  MLS taxiing on runway.
10:28:01  Bong into cockpit, lowers canopy.  Raises canopy & climbs out, walk away from plane.  
10:28:30  Pilot walking away from plane (brief).  LS takeoff run.
10:28:43  Aerial above fluffy cumulus clouds, ground & scattered palm plantation visible thru.  MCU P-38 turning past.  Aerial over factory / warehouses (?) among trees.  LS formation of fighter planes r. to l. w/ mountains behind / below.
