CINCINNATI (WKRC) -- Some local police officers will be helping families with sick children on Saturday.

Members of the University of Cincinnati's Police Department cooked and served a holiday brunch for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House on Saturday morning.
     
The Ronald McDonald House is a pace that families can live while their children undergo treatment at Children's Hospital.
     
UC‚„s mascot, the Bearcat, also stopped by, along with members of the UC Dance and Cheer Team.
