Womens Africa U-20 volleyball: Egypt face Rwanda for title

Curtains come down on the week long Volleyball Under-20 Women's African Nations Championship with Egypt and Rwanda who have both qualified for the Women's Volleyball Under 20 World Championship facing off at Kasarani at 4pm. Egypt and Rwanda will clash for the right to be continental champions at 4pm after Cameroon face off with Rwanda starting at 2pm. Hosts Kenya finished a disappointing fifth after they lost two group games, first to Nigeria and then to Cameroon. This was despite coach Paul Gitau settling for a majority of players from East Africa secondary school games champions Kwanthanze Girls. Pundits are now calling for the Kenya Volleyball Federation to invest in coaching courses to upgrade the trainers skills or risk falling behind in African volleyball.
