There are some kind of totems around the map, they are represented as blue and red crosses in the minimap. 

Destroying blue ones creates a rift where you can enter and complete repeatable quests by killing a series of mob spawn in an instanced map. 
Destroying red ones start a mob spawn in the same map, so all the people around can kill them. 

This quests can be done a limited number of times every day. This kind of quests appear and disappear as you level up, increasing in difficulty. 

By completing this quests you get some exp and special coins to purchase double-slotted blue armor sets (lvl 15 and 25 currently).

Dunno how to translate this "아비스모" for the quest name, but phonetically sounds like "Abismo" = Abyss
