Our Empire State Building Experience. On May 13, 2017 Brek and the crew visited the Empire State Building in New York City. The weather was horrible - rainy, windy and cold for May (50 f) but it was our first trip to the city and the Empire State Building was on our must do list. When we bought tickets we were told visibility was zero, but it really didn't matter since we'd traveled 700 miles via car. Visibility ended up being spotty, zero in some spots and decent in others. Below is some information on the tour from the official website. Enjoy! Located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, the Empire State Building Experience is more than just a view. Embark on a journey through one of the most famous landmarks in the world, where you will experience the Art Deco lobby and murals, the historical “Dare to Dream” exhibit, and sustainability exhibit. Learn the fascinating history of the building's construction, restoration and industry-leading sustainability retrofit. Take in New York's most breathtaking views from its open-air observatory. See New York's world-famous skyline as it was meant to be seen—until 2am every night. Enhance your visit with the free Empire State Building Experience app, available on the App Store and Google Play.
