by: Sarah Jennings Two Chattanooga men are in custody this morning after a police chase that began in North Carolina and ended in Tennessee.Martell Jones and Ladarius Owens are accused of leading officers on a chase that started in Mars Hill, North Carolina, after deputies tried to stop Owens on a traffic violation.Owens was driving toward Tennessee. When his car crossed the line into Unicoi County, officers put down spike strips and flattened the car's tires. Owens is charged with felony evading arrest. Jones, his passenger, was wanted for attempted murder in Hamilton County.The pair was also wanted in Johnson City on aggravated robbery warrants.
