A few passengers jump off the boat to swim in the cold waters to the hot spring. 30 minutes are permitted. One young lady Jamie, from my group, hesitated in jumping in. If she cannot tread water, i advised not to jump in as the distance to the hot spring would be more than 250 m away. Her husband had swum away as there was no time to waste. He was an excellent swimmer. . One must be well prepared to jump into the waters and swim fast as 30 minutes are a short time.
