Part 2. A large globular tumour or abscess 8mmx8mmx5mm below the right ear was seen as a swelling by a young lady owner. "I noticed the swelling 3 days ago," she told me. "Usually I don't notice because the hamster likes to stuff herself with seeds inside the cheek pouch," she held up a maize seed with her fingers. "She would only eat the maize seed in my presence." Dr Daniel Sing sedated with Zoletil 50 IM. It was an abscess. I asked Intern Daniel Low who would be studying in Glasgow University Vet School for 2014 to narrate the video after some briefing. This is his videography attempt and his narration. Much can be learnt from hands-on experience.
