MVI 7727. Part 3. The Pom has 4 skin tumours and a reservoir of caseous pus which oozed out from under the skin between the shoulder blades. "It is best to remove the skin tumours when they are small," I advised as some vets will recommend a wait-and-see way. But many dog owners wait but don't see till the tumours are gigantic. The oozing pus below the skin will be drained by incision of the overlying skin and removing the infected subcutaneous cells. It is not possible to know whether the skin tumours are malignant or not and so a "wait-and-see" advice is not recommended.
