On one hand the lure of making tax free money is one of the biggest incentive to work in Dubai, UAE or the Middle East. However, what is the down side to working in the Dubai, UAE or the Middle East?
Here in this video I state the 3 biggest drawbacks to working in Dubai, UAE

The first drawback is the fact that you need a Visa in order to work. For that matter you need a visa to stay in the country. You need a visa to keep your family with you. And you need a visa if you have to stay in the country for the long run. In other words - without a visa you are a nothing and nobody as the visa defines you existence in the country. So that in turn leaves the employer with having the upper hand.

The 2nd drawback of living in Dubai, UAE is the fact that is it not a very cheap place to live, expenses keep rising and you have to pay money in order to survive and thrive in the country. Added on top of all this - the expenses of having a family, sending your children to school, taking care of your spouse, managing your own personal and professional expenses - which keep growing and increasing over the period of time also make it hard to save.

Finally, the last and biggest drawback is the fact that there is no future in the country, so in other words - whatever you do earn in the country, whatever you do create for yourself and whatever you have build for yourself will one day amount to nothing especially when you have to leave the country and go back to the country of your origin.
