I'm not usually too bothered by people spamming the occasional link but the type of gold spam we are seeing overrun the Diablo 3 trade and general chat at the moment is just so easy to prevent. Basic things like filtering out "www." ".com" and variations of such is a good start but just not allowing trial accounts to post in the chat channels would be an even easier fix. 

The Diablo 3 chat system is already so bad but this is the final nail in the coffin for any sort of general Diablo 3 community that might have otherwise existed.
