Police respond to Chatsworth resident' concerns

A Durban councillor is accusing the police of using excessive force during a protest in Chatsworth. Around 22 community members have been arrested and charged with damage to property, violence against police and crimen injuria. The protest was sparked by the fatal shooting of 9-year-old, Sadia Sukhraj during a botched hijacking outside a school in Shallcross. SAPS Spokesperson, Captain Nqobile Gwala, provides an update.
